Racism and stereotypes affecting career opportunities and salaries People are not able to get jobs and stuff no based on what they know but based on who they are and there color.
Issue- Everything isn't affordable anymore.
Resources such as oil are very expensive these days. Not very long ago, oil was under 1 dollar each gallon. Now it is like 4$. Bush is taking oil by force instead of asking people for it. Oh, and the main export of oil is in Middle East Asia.

this is a very interesting issue. There was a survey released recently that revealed information about this issue. I will see if I can find more information about it. Another good resource for you may be Ms. Jackson. I bet she has some information about this to share.
I chose to write about gang violence particularly in teen males.This is an issue because many friends we have are affected by, physical fights& violence using weapons related to gang violence. These are the people affected: the kids trying to find their place in the world, the kids suffering from peer pressure, or those who seek revenge are mainly the ones affected aswell as those killed or severly damaged by gang violence.
Asia I don't think its just racism. Its also sexism. Men and women don't have equal income for some reason.
THE PROBLEM I AM FOCUSING ON IS HOW WEBSITES LIKE MYSPACE AND FACEBOOK ARE MAKING IT EASIER FOR PEDOPHILES TO TARGET CHILDREN.
I think my issue is important because it is sick watching children disappear because of grown adults kidnapping children for their own sick pleasures and sick fantasies. They are exploiting children because they are small and curious so if their parents aren’t teaching them internet safety, something so simple that would only take about five minutes to tell your child what not to do on a computer and what information is safe to give out and what information is not safe to give out.
Of a new tracking device that does not work is a serious problem because it can make more people in the world worried And it makes the law enforcement look bad and it can cause distress because no that there is someone who The takes children on the loose and it can make a lot of people complaint the government saying the law does not want to do there best

I remember when I could by gas for my car at $0.99 a gallon. Now I pay close to $3.00 a gallon! This is a very important issue!!
Is the issue here only the cost of oil? Or is it perhaps the notion that oil is not a renewable resource, and therefor we need to come up with new ways to fuel our cars and heat our homes? Something to think about.

The topic I picked was violence. I picked this because its increasing and happening on a world wide basis. My problem is serious one more and more people are dying. The sad thing is that most of the people dying are young adults. These are the people who haven’t even begun living yet havent gotten a chance to see the world. I think that everyone is affected by it but more so young adults. I think that Court officials, the police, teachers, the government any one can hep as long as they are willing to help out with the problem.

the lack of snow plows in urben areas : the reason why I think dis is an issue is because I know that in new England that there is lot of snow that falles in the winter.

The Issue that I had Chosen is Drug Abuse. I decided to choose this problem because I think is very important problem to find the solution to it and ind out how am going to fix the problem so it wont effect our Community.I think that the people that are effected by this issue is people and specially kids under age. What tracking issue are you refering to? What is it used for?
My article talks about soldiers in war how they don't have any time for training or any time for staying with there love ones for a period of time. soldiers who are at war should have as much time as they desire. this could affect our country allot. As the soldiers grow tiered of going to war the country that we are at war with could have a serious advantage. I think that if i meet one of the soldiers i could get a visual story of the affect. i could even possible help.

Thank you ms. graham, I would agree that talking to some one would work best.Kids like it when you talk to them rather than judge them and tell what they should and should not due although in the back of my head Im thinking " They will eventually learn" I know one day it may be too late. We need to stop violence before it has time to start. When people came to my school and told us about drugs that persuaded me so I know warning them is a big help.

My issue was Drug abuse and sales in the neighborhood is well people using illegal drugs and people sealing them in our neighborhood where the kids or anyone could go to that person and buy the drug. This is a serious problem because people can get an overdose and died if they don't get medical help. I think the people who are affected are the people that use it which is mostly young teenagers. they are affected because they use it and mess up their minds, heath and they don't think on the future. The people that can help me are Doctors, scientists to help learn about the problem. Other people that can help me are the hospitals or center that help the teenagers quit the drugs.

How would you propose to stop this problem? I think someone that might be able to tell you about initiatives tried in the past would be Nurse De or Ms. Daniels. They could probably tell you about how this issue has been approached in the past.
